Together for Nepal – LCA Flood Relief Appeal
In response to the devastating floods affecting communities across Nepal, Livability Care Australia is bringing together our friends, families, colleagues, partners, organisations and wider community to support humanitarian relief efforts through Australian Red Cross.
Australian Red Cross has confirmed that from 27 August to 30 September 2026, donations made to the Global Emergency Fund will support response efforts in Nepal.
Every contribution, regardless of size, can make a meaningful difference. Whether it is $10, $20 or more, when our community comes together, small contributions can create a much greater collective impact.
For transparency, all donations are made securely and directly through Australian Red Cross. Funds are not collected through Livability Care Australia or any personal bank account.
We also hope to collaborate with other businesses, organisations and community partners to strengthen this campaign and increase the support we can provide.
This campaign is about compassion, unity and standing together with the people and communities affected during this incredibly difficult time.
Please donate if you are able, and if you cannot donate, simply sharing this page can also make a difference.
Thank you for standing together for Nepal.

Leadership Means Showing Up When It Matters
Wednesday 2nd SepThere are moments when leadership is not about titles, positions or business outcomes. It is simply about recognising when people are hurting and asking ourselves, “What can we do together?”
The devastating floods affecting communities across Nepal and areas near the Tibet border are one of those moments.
At Livability Care Australia, this is not an individual initiative. It is a team effort. It represents our staff, families, friends, business partners and wider community coming together behind a common purpose.
Our values have always been CARE — Communication, Acknowledgement, Respect and Empowerment.
For us, those values cannot only be words we display or talk about within our organisation. They should be visible in the way we respond when our colleagues, their families and communities are going through difficult times.
Communication means creating awareness and starting the conversation.
Acknowledgement means recognising the suffering and needs of others.
Respect means standing beside communities with dignity and compassion.
Empowerment means giving people an opportunity to contribute, help and make a difference in whatever way they can.
That is why we have chosen to support the Australian Red Cross Global Emergency Fund and encourage our broader community to stand together.
No one person or organisation can solve a crisis like this alone. But when many people contribute—even $5, $10 or simply share the message—the collective impact can become something significant.
This is not about who donated, how much someone gave, or receiving recognition. It is about what we can achieve when we come together as a team and a community.
I also encourage other leaders, businesses and organisations to consider how they can use their own networks and platforms during times like these. Leadership sometimes means simply taking the first step and giving others an opportunity to join you.
If our collective effort can make even a small difference to someone who has lost their home, livelihood or sense of security, then it is an effort worth making.
