Let’s help people get back on their feet after a disaster

I’m fundraising for Red Cross to ensure they and their partners can be there for people in disasters, crises and conflicts overseas. Red Cross is local in 192 countries worldwide. So wherever a crisis occurs, a Red Cross or Red Crescent team will be on the scene to help.

Helping people overseas who have been affected by disasters and conflict is really important to me and I’d love your support. Please help me by donating to my fundraising page.

And we're done!  WOW what an amazing result, THANK YOU SO MUCH, everyone!  Final total was $2,648, which is about 5 times the amount I dared to hope for!  The winner of the shawl was Fiona from Canberra, and I am just STOKED at what we've managed to achieve!  Rest easy, everyone, you have definitely helped humanity this year.  Big hugs and kisses and long speeches of gratitude to you all!  xxxxxx

Have now raised more than SIX TIMES my initial target, I'm running out of superlatives!  What fantastically generous, supportive, kind people you are ... I am SO grateful to every one of you who has made a contribution to this fund, and the people in distress and disaster who will benefit from your donations will be thanking you even more!  Ask and you will receive!  People are great!  LOVE YOU ALL!!!

WOW!  You are all such generous lovely people!  THANK YOU, all of my new sponsors, including "Anonymous" and the mysterious ND whose email address doesn't work!!! MASSIVE THANKS to the employees of Scyne, PWC and Red Cross ... your places in heaven are assured!  I'm really quite overwhelmed by your kindness.  Guess I'll just have to raise that target again!

THANK YOU, EVERYONE!  Now that I've reached my (revised for the third time) target, it's nearly time to draw the raffle ... which will take place next Tuesday, August 28th, at Red Cross House in Garran, ACT.  Please spread the word for these last few days, so we can make as big a difference as possible to everyone facing disaster right now.  You are all so lovely for buying raffle tickets - THANK YOU!!  :)

Wow, what wonderful friends I have!  AGAIN, we've smashed the target so I'm now raising it to ... $1,000!  Big thanks to Janis, who has just come back from a devastated Honolulu, and made the biggest (single) donation so far!  The raffle will be drawn next week, so if you think any of your friends would like to help/win the shawl, please share my page.  In the meantime, once more ...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!  I am really quite overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity!  :)
