For my mother’s 40th* her one ask has been around donations to the Red Cross.
Why is the Red Cross important? The Red Cross featured in the Spence family before a lot of people even knew it. The organisation was responsible for delivering parcels, letters, communication and connection to the world to Susans grandfather during his 4 years in a POW camp for 4 years in WW2.
The only means of letting a worried family in Bo’Ness known he was still alive, give him hope and keep connection with the outside world.
The work they continue to do globally remains as, if not more relevant than ever before so to celebrate another rotation on the sun why not support and give back to and support excellent cause.
