From 29 March 2025 to 31 May 2025, all donations to the Global Emergency Fund were used to support the earthquake response in Myanmar.
Donations to the Global Emergency Fund mean Red Cross can be there for people in disasters, crises and conflicts overseas. It powers local emergency teams to provide life-saving assistance during disasters and conflict, and helps communities recover with dignity and prepare for future crises.
Your donations support life-changing work, and may include:
- Emergency assistance including search and rescue, first aid and ambulance transport
- Distribution of relief supplies and drinking water to affected communities
- Helping people to restore contact with family members separated by the crisis
- Specialist aid workers to assist local teams to respond
- Working in affected areas to support communities to recover from this disaster, and build their resilience to future ones.
- Monitoring and evaluation of the humanitarian operation.
