From 29 March all donations to the Global Emergency Fund will support our response to the 2025 Myanmar Earthquake.
Your donation helps Red Cross be there to support people affected by the earthquakes in Myanmar. It enables us and our partners to provide life-saving assistance, and help people recover safely and with dignity. That support may include:
- Emergency assistance including search and rescue, first aid and ambulance transport
- Distribution of relief supplies and drinking water to affected communities
- Helping people to restore contact with family members separated by the crisis
- Specialist aid workers to assist local teams to respond
- Working in affected areas to support communities to recover from this disaster, and build their resilience to future ones.
- Monitoring and evaluation of the humanitarian operation.

can provide a shelter repair kit for a family of five, offering emergency shelter after a disaster. The kit includes a shelter tool kit, two tarpaulins, and two lanterns, allowing families to create a temporary shelter or repair their damaged home.

can provide a 16m² double-fly tent with a ground sheet, offering temporary shelter for a family who has lost their home.
